When I heard that my favourite equestrian sport British Eventing & British jewellery maker Hiho Silver were partnering up for a collaboration this summer – I knew it was going to be an exciting one not to be missed.
Not only is it exciting for anyone who competes in British Eventing, but for the spectators, owners, followers & of course the volunteers.
It’s great to have a jewellery collection that as a lover of British Eventing you can wear with pride. And the great thing is, you don’t even need to have a horse to own a piece of the collection.
Here’s the low down on the collection which officially launched at The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park on 2nd August.
Hiho Silver designed the collection exclusively for British Eventing which is made up of two exciting pieces. A British Eventing sterling silver friendship bracelet & a roller charm bead.
The friendship bracelet which retails at £45 is made up using British Eventing classic colours red, white & blue plaited cord with the addition of one of Hiho’s well known toggles to ensure one size fits all. It comes with a sterling silver flat disc with the famous BE logo on one side & a blank back for you engrave if you like.
The roller bead which retails at £35 is sterling silver with BE engraved on the front & the traditional colours red, white & blue CZ crystals running around it. The charm fits perfectly on a variety of bracelets including Hiho’s sterling silver foxtail & leather plaited foxtail bracelet, as well as on necklaces too.
I have a feeling the roller bead charm & friendship bracelet will become lucky charms for many during the rest of the 2019 eventing season.
We’re delighted to be working with British Eventing on the Official jewellery collection,” said Emma Warren, Managing Director of Hiho Silver. “Hiho’s eventing connections are vast; from the shows we attend and have sponsored for years to our customers, sponsored riders and brand ambassadors, our own love of the sport, and the King of the Road’s lifelong love of horses. Being able to create a collection of pieces that celebrates this organisation has been such fun and we can’t wait to see them launch.
The two British Eventing pieces will be available on Hiho’s stand at The Festival of British Eventing 1-4 August & on the Hiho Silver website too.
I’ve had the pleasure in trying the range over the last few weeks & adore both the bead & bracelet. I’ll definitely will be wearing mine at my future BE competitions – hoping it will bring me some extra good luck!
